When to work with us?
The Powerhaus app is ideal for the design development stage of your project. When you’ve settled on a rough layout, and now you’d like to fine-tune the details.
The Powerhaus app uses data from a full NatHERS thermal model. Our interface simplifies the modelling process and provides instant feedback, enabling quick prototyping and scenario-testing. Our goal is to offer a simple, unified experience for making energy decisions for a home.
Additionally, we have incorporated data on energy use and solar generation to make sustainability decisions easier. Every house has the potential to be a Powerhaus – capable of meeting its own energy needs every day of the year with renewable power.

How to access the Powerhaus app
Submit your job details
When you start a new job, you’ll be sent an email requesting your plans and a form to complete with your building details.
Your plans need at a minimum to include:
We create a NatHERS thermal model of your design
After starting a job and submitting your plans, we complete a NatHERS thermal model, which can take up to 5 days.
Using NatHERS-approved software, we create a detailed geometry and generate complex hour-by-hour heating and cooling data for your design.
Depending on the complexity of your design, thermal models can take several hours to complete. As soon as we’re done, you’ll receive an email from our team notifying you that your job is loaded into the app and ready to go!
